Team Awards Banquet – Expectations for Behavior

Next Monday, we will hold our Team Awards Banquet, where every swimmer will be individually recognized.

During this event, we ask all swimmers and attendees to:

• Give each teammate the attention and courtesy they deserve by remaining quiet and respectful while names are being called.
• Allow each family to enjoy hearing what the coaches have to express about their swimmer.

In previous seasons, there have unfortunately been issues with older swimmers talking and being disruptive during this portion of the banquet.

This will not be tolerated this year.
If swimmers are talking to the point where coaches or presenters cannot be heard, they will be asked to leave the deck.

Younger swimmers consistently show great behavior during these moments, and we fully expect our older swimmers to lead by example.

Let’s work together to ensure the awards banquet is a respectful and celebratory event for all our swimmers.
