Volunteer Roles
Hello Swim Parents!
Welcome to the Village Green Swim Team! We have another exciting season already under way and we look forward to seeing everyone at the pool!
Summer swim team is a volunteer intensive sport. EVERY meet requires parent participation before, during, and after. We need every parent volunteering during meets but we understand that some people have reasons they cannot. If you can’t participate during meets (i.e. have very young children, work evenings, health issues, etc) please let us know and we can find other places you can help.
Please do not be intimidated with volunteering. We were all first-time swim parents at one time and many positions require no experience like timing and sweeps. The seasoned parents are happy to help share their experience.
Leadership Team:
The leadership team are the individuals that start planning the swim team season year-round before anything is published on Facebook or distributed in the neighborhood. These are the men and women who work behind the scenes putting in countless hours to help ensure our season is successful and fun. There are some open positions if anyone is interested.
